Information is Power

On the January 9th show, Joe Lucey and Derek Fautsch covered recent market fluctuations and portfolio reviews.

The market dipped in the past week. Usually, when that happens, some get nervous about their portfolios, seeking either assurance or solutions. On the January 2nd show, Joe Lucey and Derek Fautsch covered New Year’s views on transformations vs. transactions, financial product pros and cons, and 5 Star Planning and the recent changes to Social Security.   Make retirement planning a part of your 2016 strategy. Here are a few suggested resolutions for the New Year;

  • Consider a custom retirement plan that includes income, investment, tax, health care and legacy planning.
  • For taxes, plan ahead regarding required distributions.
  • Educate yourself with information on recent changes to Social Security’s past strategies including file and suspend and restricted applications.
  • Resolve to know the differences between financial products and the value of transformations vs. transactions.

Danielle Christensen

Paraplanner

Danielle is dedicated to serving clients to achieve their retirement goals. As a Paraplanner, Danielle helps the advisors with the administrative side of preparing and documenting meetings. She is a graduate of the College of St. Benedict, with a degree in Business Administration and began working with Secured Retirement in May of 2023.

Danielle is a lifelong Minnesotan and currently resides in Farmington with her boyfriend and their senior rescue pittie/American Bulldog mix, Tukka.  In her free time, Danielle enjoys attending concerts and traveling. She is also an avid fan of the Minnesota Wild and loves to be at as many games as possible during the season!
